My first THBoxes order & Sensible Sunday(10)

Happy Sunday y'all!

Last month, I checked out THBoxes.com to see if they had any jewelry that I would be interested in. For those who don't know, I'm picky when it comes to jewelry. I want them to have meaning and to symbolize something.
I don't like buying plain crystal earrings or Swarowski- something necklaces. It's more about the meaning behind the piece of jewelry that has value rather than the material it is made of.
Of course, if I get it as a gift that's a completely different story. Gifts always mean something :)

That being said, I like to pick jewelry that represent a miniature of an object or that have something meaningful written on them. I want the necklaces or earrings I'm wearing to say something about me, my personality, my hobbies.

If you would like me to do a post about all the pieces of jewelry I own and the meaning behind it, leave it in the comments :)

This is why I picked this beautiful necklace from THBoxes:

This shows my passion for traveling and exploring pretty good, don't you think? :)
What I like about it is that the chain is longer than that of all the other necklaces I own and contrary to what you might think, the globe is not heavy.Yeah,it's a little bit heavier than other necklaces but it's not bothering.
Also, the details on the globe and the telescope make them look so real, I love it! Another plus is that it doesn't have a lock-thingy so you don't lose time trying to lock the necklace around your neck.

The price is 2,65 $ ,the shipping was free and the delivery time was around a month (faster than I expected, considering it was shipped from China to Romania)

And now, let's take a little time to say a prayer for all those who died or were injured in the Boston bombing, the Texas explosion and the earthquake from the Sichuan province in China:

  1. Very interesting blog. A lot of blogs I see these days don't really provide anything that attract others, but I'm most definitely interested in this one. Just thought that I would post and let you know.

Hi, everybody! Happy New Year?I hope the holidays were great for all of you and,if not, things will get better!:) I know I'm not consistent when it comes to posting on the blog but sometimes I'm busy and sometimes I'm out of inspiration. The next portrait I will do will be of Shay Mitchell of Pretty Little Liars :) I'm not sure when it will be up ,but definitely this month (unless something unexpected happens) This month will be a pretty busy one for me as I have my first university exam session.I don't know if I should be scared. Considering there are subjects that I don't even know what are about, I probably should :) The session starts on January 21 and I will kick it off with a Grammatical Structures exam.In fact, it's the only  exam I actually think I'll do good in :) Another thing that happened in the month of December was this : I tried to dye my hair bright red but, obviously, that didn't turn out that great.I should have known tha...

Tourism- bringing the best out of the world!

As a young solo traveler, whenever I plan my next trip I somehow always end up focusing on big names on the map, such as London, Stockholm or some other capital city promoted on the Internet.I don't know how other travelers think, but I don't know if the small village of Sapanta  in the north of Romania( http://www.romanianmonasteries.org/maramures/sapanta ) is somehwere on their travel list.Or the small town of Medjugorje in Bosnia&Herzegovina.    Before turning 18 ,I went on many roadtrips with my father in my country ,Romania, and got to see almost all it has to offer.Yes,Romania is one of the ex-communist countries of Eastern Europe. And yes,it is behind Western Europe and the U.S. in many aspects. But what I have noticed in the small, poor villages I passed through were the tourists who realized that having a good holiday doesn't mean going to Paris. There were not as many as I wished there were but I think that Romania is slowly...

Hello ,lovely people of the world! Today is a new beautiful day, perfect to take a break  from our daily activities and think a little bit about some important issues facing youth all over the world. First of all, the World Conference on Youth 2014 is just around the corner and this year it will take place in exotic, beautiful  Colombo in Sri Lanka. The conference is a meeting place for youth to discuss and ponder on some important issues such as Youth Rights and Gender Equality. Speaking of which, young people have a huge impact on culture and sports and all sorts of recreational activities that they get involved in but, at the same time , those activities have a great influence on them, shaping their views which they will use later on in their jobs and personal lives. All the features that people want to find in their friends and that employers ask of their employees can be easily learnt through sports and activities. Sharing your culture with others is also an invaluab...
